From Scotland to the World – A Journey Through the Lens
Born and raised on the rugged West Coast of Scotland, my early years were steeped in the natural beauty and character of the region. After making a life-changing move to Hampshire, England, I began a new chapter with an international consultancy in management, engineering, and development.
Having spent most of my life in Scotland, I suddenly found myself travelling across the globe. Armed with a compact Canon Powershot G series camera, perfect for quick, discreet shots—I captured moments in places where photography was often restricted. Over the years, I amassed a collection of more than 70,000 images.
Now retired, I have the time to fully immerse myself in photography and other creative pursuits. I’m excited to share my work with a wider audience and offer prints for those who appreciate a different perspective.
Rather than focusing on typical tourist snapshots, my photography leans toward the abstract—revealing scenes and details that often go unnoticed. Each image invites viewers to see the world through a fresh lens.
